Education and Development Services is a specialized unit focused on continuous learning and development that provides a wide range of training and development solutions for individuals, organizations, and various communities.

MusEdu project and Art Walk

Early Education in Museums for an Inclusive Future (MusEdu) is a two-year Erasmus+ project aimed at developing museum-based early childhood education services. MusEdu, in collaboration with museums, offers inclusive and high-quality early childhood education. The project designs and implements museum-based learning services for preschool-aged children. By combining arts-based approaches with design thinking, the project supports preschoolers’ learning, creativity, and active citizenship, as well as sustainable development.

In addition to Finland, partners include organizations from Italy, Romania, and Norway.

The University of Lapland’s Art Walk runs along the main corridor through the campus, providing information about the works of art found along the route.

Finnish Red Cross, Lapland District

The Finnish Red Cross is an emergency response and preparedness organization that provides assistance wherever it is needed. At the heart of our work are trained volunteers who perform vital volunteer work. The Finnish Red Cross provides assistance in the event of accidents and crises in Finland and around the world. We encourage people to look out for one another and their safety, and to stand up for those who are vulnerable.

The Union for Social Science Professionals (Yhteiskunta-alan korkeakoulutetut ry, YKA)
