Minor subject studies

Minor subject studies refer to studies that a degree student completes and includes in their degree in addition to the major studies of their degree programme. Minor subject studies allow you to shape your degree to match your own goals, inclinations and career plans.

Most of our degree programmes include minor subject studies that can be chosen freely. Get familiar with your degree structure which outlines the extent and requirements of the minor subject studies.

In minor subjects, you complete the core and intermediate studies of your chosen subject. Consequently, the majors of different faculties are suitable as minors for students with different majors. Please check the study guide if major subjects have different requirements for minor subject students.

At our university, students can freely choose their minor subjects. This means that you do not usually need a permit for completing minor subject studies, instead, you may register for the courses directly. Please note that only some of the minor subject studies are available in English.
