PSP and studying

The PSP, or personal study plan, is a key tool for your studies. In your PSP, you plan which studies you will take, how you will complete them and when you will complete them. Please take the course implementation and your own language background into account in your PSP. You can always get help with planning from our many support services.

Degree structures and study guides

The degree structure outlines the components of your degree. By following the degree structure, you increase your chances of graduating on time. If your degree structure changes or your studies are delayed, it is a good idea to get familiar with the instructions on changing to a new degree structure. You can also book a personal guidance appointment for support.

Compulsory studies

Our degrees always include a set of compulsory studies. In addition to the major subject, all degree students complete methodological studies, language and communication studies as well as learn information retrieval skills. Some compulsory studies can also be completed during the summer.

Elective studies

Our degrees include a varying number of elective studies. You can study a wide range of minor subjects not only within your faculty but also in other units and higher education institutions. Bold choices allow you to tailor your degree and make it truly your own.

Traineeship

During a traineeship, you get to apply the skills you have learnt in your studies in real situations. Some degrees include a mandatory traineeship, while others offer it as an elective. You can also complete a traineeship abroad.

Internationalisation in studies

Internationalisation is an essential part of university studies. You can already internationalise in the university hallways, but why not take it further with an exchange or traineeship abroad? Our Internationalisation services help you in all matters related to internationalisation.

Credit transfer

Do you already have prior knowledge? You may have studied before or gained skills through work, hobbies or everyday life. You don’t need to re-study the things that you have already mastered.
