Student Services

Is your question related to the right to study, registering as a student or the certificate of your student status? The University of Lapland’s Student Services are here to help you primarily by e-mail: opinto(at)ulapland.fi

NB! Customer service is available on campus only by appointment.

The Student Services support the whole university; hence it is usually best to contact your own faculty’s Student Affairs Office as a first step. If they don’t know how to help you, they will forward your message to someone who can.

If you have questions related to specific courses (course registration, completion of a course, receiving assessments), contact the teacher of the course directly. Course teachers can be found in Peppi.

If your question is related to the following topics, contact the Student Affairs Office of your faculty: studying at the faculty, study attainments, graduation, minor subjects offered by the faculty or study attainments in the transcript of records.

Need study guidance?

When you need guidance and support in your studies, you can ask for help from the university’s guidance services, or if you are a degree student, from your Tutor Teacher (MyTeacher). University social workers, the study psychologist and FSHS are also here to help you.

Issues with software, credentials or devices?

Helpdesk for students

If your issue is related to your university credentials, wireless network, printing, then the IT services and the student helpdesk are correct places to ask for help!

ELearning services

Are you having issues with online services related to your studies? The eLearning services help you with issues related to Moodle, online lectures, Office 365 and Padlet.

Peppi guide

Is Peppi not working as it should? Please check first if you can find a solution to your problem from the Peppi guide. If that doesn’t solve your problem, contact Peppi support: peppi@ulapland.fi. Please note that the Student Affairs Office of your own faculty helps you with issues related to study attainments, registrations and compilation of studies.

EXAM

The electronic examination system EXAM is available on the Rovaniemi campus as well as at several locations around Finland. Please read the instructions on EXAM’s own website and, if necessary, contact EXAM support at exam (at) ulapland.fi.
