• attends the strategic planning and implementation of the strategy of our faculty
• prepares the proposals for appointing permanent teaching staff according to the strategic personnel plan
• operates as a quality assurance body in the faculty
• assesses and develops teaching and research
• lays down faculty-specific selection criteria for admissions
• approves the curricula
• approves and grades master’s and licentiate theses and doctoral dissertations on the basis of examiner statements

Upon application, the university may confer the title of Docent on a person who has profound knowledge of their field, demonstrated through publications or other means, the ability to conduct independent research or artistic work and good teaching skills.
