MUTElab

MUTElab is a research and development environment of the Fashion and Textile Design degree programme. In MUTElab, you can test, develop and examine ideas related to fashion (for example fashion and structural design), textile design (for example printed fabrics and jacquard weaves) and material research (for example on materials for clothing and textile art). 

Central themes in our testing and design processes are different approaches and perspectives that promote the well-being of humans and the environment, all grounded in and informed by research. The work methods of the studios support multisensory experiences and functionality.
