Bachelor’s and master’s degrees

At our faculty, studies are offered both at the bachelor’s and master’s levels in six degree programmes. These degree programmes are Audiovisual Media Culture, Graphic Design, Art Education, Fashion and Textile Design, Design and Applied Visual Arts. All of these degree programmes are taught in Finnish.

We also offer master’s programmes that students can apply to after completing their bachelor’s studies to continue toward a master’s degree. Two of our master’s programmes — Art Expertise and Service Design — are taught in Finnish and three — Arctic Indigenous Cinema, Service Design Strategies and Innovations, and Sustainable Art and Design — in English.

Exchange studies

We offer a wide variety of courses in English even though the main language of instruction is Finnish. Learn more about the exchange opportunities at our university below.
