Tilaisuus järjestetään Alaruokasen talolla, ja tarjolla on maittava menu, ruokajuomat ja hyvää alumniseuraa! Tilaisuus alkaa klo 18.00 ja siirrymme mahdollisille jatkoille Rovaniemen keskustaan klo 22.00. Pyydämme sitovat ilmoittautumiset ja maksut viimeistään 23.8.2026 mennessä. Maksu ilmoittautumisen yhteydessä. Maksu palautetaan, jos peruutuksen tekee viimeistään 10.9.2026 mennessä. 10.9.2026 päivämäärän jälkeen tehdyissä peruutuksissa ei palauteta maksua. Tapio Määttä graduated with a Master of Laws degree from the University of Lapland in 1993. During his studies, he served as Chair of the Student Union Representative Council and as a member of the University Board. He also served as a member of the Executive Board of the National Union of University Students in Finland (SYL).

Määttä earned his Doctor of Laws degree from the University of Helsinki in 1999. Since 2000, he has held the position of Professor of Environmental Law at the University of Eastern Finland. He served as the Head of the UEF Law School for 13 years and as the University’s Academic Rector from 2020 to 2025.

Since the beginning of 2025, he has served as the Rector of the University of Eastern Finland.

Henna Harri graduated with a Master of Arts degree from the Faculty of Art and Design at the University of Lapland in 1998. Collaborative processes and projects within the arts field have been at the core of her professional work and, in her view, a prerequisite for a sustainable operational culture. This perspective was already shaped during her tenure as Regional Artist for Lapland from 1999 to 2003.

Harri has extensive experience in leadership and organizational roles within the contemporary art sector, as well as a longstanding interest in how structures and agency intersect both within and beyond institutions. Since 2016, she has served as Executive Director of the Association of Photographic Artists (Valokuvataiteilijoiden liitto).

From 2011 to 2016, Harri worked as a Lecturer at Aalto University and co-led the Master’s Programme in Curating, Managing and Mediating Art together with Professor Nora Sternfeld. Prior to that, she served as Executive Director of HIAP (Helsinki International Artist Programme), an artist residency organization, and as Coordinator at FRAME, the Finnish Fund for Art Exchange.

In recent years, she has been involved in the organization and development of several major initiatives in the Finnish contemporary art field, including Gallery Weekend, the TEOS event, the Finnish Photobook of the Year Award, and Art Fair Suomi.

Teija Koskela graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Lapland in 1995. During her studies, she was actively involved in student life, first as a member of Lapikas and later as the Student Union’s Cultural Affairs Officer and subsequently as Chair of the Student Union Board.

After spending several years in southern Finland, Koskela returned to the Teacher Training School of the University of Lapland, where she initially worked as a Lecturer in Class Teacher Education before moving into the role of Special Education Teacher. She earned her Doctor of Education degree from the University of Lapland in 2009.

From 2012 to 2017, Koskela served as a University Lecturer in Special Education at the University of Eastern Finland. Since 2017, she has worked as a University Researcher at the Department of Teacher Education at the University of Turku. She currently also serves as the Department’s Vice Director.

Samuel Valkeapää works as an Assistant Professor at the Sámi University of Applied Sciences (Sámi allaskuvla) on the Norwegian side of Sápmi, specializing in Sámi duodji and design with a particular focus on hard materials. His roots and life extend across the border regions of Sápmi in Finland, Sweden, and Norway, providing a cross-border perspective that informs both his professional practice and research.

His background encompasses working with and studying precious metals and other hard materials, digital tools and learning environments, as well as the development of safe working environments. His research focuses on creativity in Sámi landscapes, particularly the relationships between Sámi knowledge, material practices, technology, and place.

Samuel is a co-founder of the Sámi AI Lab and was elected Prorector of the Sámi University of Applied Sciences for the 2023–2027 term.
