Doctor of Philosophy (Education) Satu-Maarit Korte has been appointed as an Associate Professor (Title of Docent) of Learning Environments and Technologies at the University of Helsinki from 12.9.2025. The position is part of the Faculty of Education.


Satu-Maarit Korte works as a University Lecturer in Media Education at the Faculty of Education, Media Education Hub, University of Lapland. In her research, Associate Professor Korte is interested in technology-mediated teaching and learning, human-technology interaction, and international comparative research.
