You can find the election schedule and detailed information on the election site in the university intranet. The site is located on the University of Lapland’s intranet homepage under University Community, then University Collegium Elections.

The University Collegium consists of 24 members and their personal deputies, elected for a four-year term. The members representing the staff are elected through voting. The Student Union appoints eight student representatives.

The electoral lists can be viewed as of 20 October 2025 in the University Registry, at the information desk in the main hall and university’s intranet pages.

If someone considers the electoral list to be faulty concerning thenself or another person, a written appeal must be filed to the elections commission no later 27 October 2025 at 9:00 AM.

Candidate nomination takes place from 3 to 16 November 2025. Candidate nomination forms and documents for conducting a match-election will be available from the university registry and the intranet starting 31 October 2025.

Voting will be conducted electronically via the Vakka election system from 24. to 28. November 2025. Voters log in to the system using their Haka credentials. More detailed instructions will be provided closer to the election period.
