Our diverse faculty

The Faculty of Social Sciences offers nationally distinguished major and minor studies from various fields of social science.

Our diverse faculty educates ten percent of Finland’s all social scientists. Our graduates find employment in public administration, teaching and expert positions, research, business and industry, as well as in organisations both in Finland and abroad.

Our open-minded approach to research produces valuable information for the development of our society. We are active contributors in Northern Finland, nationally and internationally.
