Welcome to the opening ceremony of the University of Lapland for the academic year 2026–2027 on Monday, 7 September 2026 at 13:00.

The opening ceremony for the academic year will be held at the University of Lapland in Fellman Hall (Yliopistonkatu 8, Rovaniemi), and also a live stream will be available during the ceremony on our website. Please note, that the starting time of the ceremony differs from previous years.

The ceremony will start with an opening procession of the University of Lapland staff. The procession will assemble in the lobby of the F wing at 13:00.
