The Faculty of Education facilitates networking and communication between its graduates by arranging alumni activities. In other words, the faculty organises events where alumni can meet and discuss with each other. The University of Lapland also organises joint alumni activities.

Advisory Board for Teacher Education

The University of Lapland’s Advisory Board for Teacher Education is a forum for the stakeholders of the University of Lapland and the Lapland region. Its purpose is to promote cooperation and interaction between the university and its stakeholders, especially when it comes to teacher education. The Advisory Board supports the university in achieving its strategic goals in the field of teacher education. It also strengthens the connection between teacher education and the training school, as well as helps the development and regional impact of the training school’s activities.
