CHAT perspectives on Agency, Mediation and AI

This pre-seminar will be held in English only
The pre-seminar will be held entirely online

9.00–12.00

The pre-seminar is organized in three parts with small breaks in between.

  1. A keynote address and a short commentary
  2. A panel and a short commentary
  3. Open discussion to which a number of scholars working on CHAT and AI globally will be explicitly encouraged to participate - for this the discussion is planned with sufficient time

This FERA pre-seminar brings together expertise in educational sciences, computer science, and information systems for a transdisciplinary dialogue on how equitable and sustainable change might be mediated by AI with the help of cultural historical activity theory's (CHAT) conceptual framework.

All registered participants will receive recent papers from each contributor and a bibliography of recent publications on CHAT and AI.
